A very good friend of mine asked me to make his daughter a cloth doll (that I will start next week) I thought I would also make a quilt. So into the magic room I went and came out with these great fabrics and a pattern that world be a great little quilt for a little girl from her Daddy.

I have decided to document my creative journey this year. My goal it to do something creative each week. I am giving me time to step away from work and loved ones and give myself a few hours of creativity.

Here I go putting my 2012 goals in words:

• To spend time each week expressing my creativity

• Keep a blog documenting my year of creativity

• To try to use stuff out of my magic room (the room that all beautiful begins)

• Try new techniques each week from the stacks of books, magazines, videos, and blogs I have bookmarked over the years
